Exciting news! airguide™ has now adopted what3words location technology to help you guide guests directly to the entrance of your property.
Each airguide™ property has a unique what3words address, which you can choose to display to guests on the home tab and “Directions” section of your app.
what3words is an easy way to identify precise locations. Every 3 metre square in the world has been given a unique combination of three words: a what3words address.
what3words addresses are more precise than street addresses. A what3words address will guide you to a particular entrance or car parking space, which is more useful than a pin in the centre of the building. For example ///song.proverbs.streaming is the what3words address of the main entrance to the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, Florida.
In addition, there are no duplicates when it comes to what3words addresses, which is common with street addresses (there are 14 Church Roads in London!).
This is a more reliable way of navigating and makes travelling in unfamiliar places easier and safer.
A recent study shows that over half of guests (52%) spent more than an hour getting lost on their last trip.
Now, your guests will be able to find their accommodation faster, more easily and without getting lost – leaving them with more time to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.
With what3words, airguide™ is promoting easier, safer and better travel for everyone. The partnership marks our commitment to simplify guest experiences through innovative technology.
what3words is an optional feature, included free as part of all airguide™ subscriptions. To find out how to display what3words on your airguide™ apps, see our user guide.
